Lean: A Different Paradigm for the Same Process

Sometimes taking a new look at an old procedure unveils a much more obvious, and efficient, means of accomplishing the same task. Through Lean management, Brazeway has reduced changeover times, eliminated WIP in our production systems, and increased the quality of our products.

Through entire supply chain collaboration with our suppliers and customers, we've been quick to share our success, working with each customer to reduce waste in the supply chain, reducing their inventory, which reduced their lead times. When another customer needed evaporators for their refrigerators more quickly, we found a way to reduce the change-over on our production cell by more than 70%.
